UK flights to and over Russia have been banned by the country’s civil aviation authority in retaliation for a British ban on Aeroflot in UK airports and airspace.
Rosaviatsiya said that all flights by UK carriers to Russia as well as transit flights are banned

On 31 May 2021 the Russian government announced that from 2 June 2021 direct flights between the UK and Russia will restart.
The Russian government requires all arriving passengers to obtain and present a negative COVID-19 test certificate dated less than 72 hours before travel.
The Russian authorities have reintroduced international flights and in some countries (including UK) are now accepting applications for tourist visas.
We are now able to issue business and tourist visa support letters.

We have been notified of new Russian Visa Registration procedures, effective immediately (brought in on 08 July 2018). You may no longer register visas at the offices of Visa Support providers. All visas must be registered by the host (e.g. hotel, hostel/apartment owner) at the local Visa and Registration Department (OVIR).
Visas must be registered if you are staying in Russia for more than 7 business days.
If you are staying in private accommodation (eg booked through Airbnb, Booking.com etc. or with relatives) please contact your host to ensure they are aware of the new regulations and are able to register your visa at the local Visa and Registration Department (OVIR).
